"I picked up a pair of these mittens from a local store when my son was younger, which he wore for 2 years, and outgrew. I ordered him a new pair, in the larger size, and am still loving these mittens. Before, he would get so frustrated with conventional mittens, as they would always fall off. Now, we don't have to worry about his mittens falling off, or snow getting into the top of them. He stays plenty warm, and dry with these."

The gauntlet goes over the coat sleeve and secures above the elbow, so there's no gap for snow to get in at the wrist and nothing to fall off at the bus stop.
The biggest adventures happen when the snow comes down, and the Storm Mitten is built for those days. Its 100g insulation and clean no-print build in blue, grey, or black handle ski mornings, long sledding afternoons, and full days outside. This is the step up for kids who stay out longer and colder, more mitten than a school-day recess needs and the right call when the whole day is spent in the snow. If your kid skis all day in the deepest cold, or heads out for ice fishing and snowmobiling, the Superior Mitten is the one to size up to. Gear that holds up, so it's never the thing anyone thinks about.
Will it fit over a puffy coat sleeve?
Yes, that's what the gauntlet is built for. It goes over the sleeve, not under it. If your kid is between sizes, go up. The gauntlet works best with a little room.
Are these waterproof?
They have a waterproof breathable bladder, so hands stay dry through snow and wet play while the mitten still breathes.
How do I wash them?
Machine wash cold. Dry on low or no heat, or let them air dry overnight.
